Where will I go from here?

I will use the knowledge, skills and experience that I've gained through this AmeriCorps internship to continue a career in education. Whether that means being in a traditional classroom or another setting, my aim is to be a catalyst for creating confident, engaged learners ready to go into the world with the skills they need to make it better.

I intend to work more with ELL students as a career path and am very interested in focusing on literacy as a means to increased life efficacy. Since education is a major predictor of future achievement and health, I see no better way to contribute to the long-term wellbeing and sustainability of the community that I'm a part of.

Until then, I'll keep gathering experiences that diversify my worldview, the knowledge of how I fit in it, and illuminate ways in which I can contribute.
