I'm an AmeriCorps member at Teton Literacy Center. I chose to come to this program because it allowed me to be within the overlapping spheres of education and work with underserved populations. Under the umbrella of Teton Science Schools and the goal of increasing scientific literacy, I've gotten to bridge my somewhat eclectic prior experiences in a way that makes meaning from them, utilizes the skills I have, and illuminates a path forward as an educator.
